Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Warmr ("Warmr", "we", "us") is operated by Warmr Inc. For privacy questions, or to exercise any of the rights described below, contact us at hi@warmr.so.
For users in the EU/UK, the relevant entity is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
2. What we collect
a. Information you give us
- Contact details — your email address when you join the waitlist, request a demo, or contact us.
- Account & license details — the license key you activate, and the identifier(s) of the device(s) you connect.
- Things you tell us — feedback, support messages, and onboarding-call notes.
b. Information collected automatically (product analytics)
- Usage and behavior — features used, workflows ("flows") run, sessions started and completed, durations, in-app events, and error/crash diagnostics.
- Device and technical data — operating system, app version, connected-device counts, and similar technical attributes.
- Website data — pages viewed, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, and cookie/identifier data for analytics.
We collect this to operate the product, fix problems, understand how it is used, and improve quality. We do not sell this data.
c. Account and content metadata you choose to connect
Some features (for example, cloud dashboards and analytics about the accounts you operate) require you to connect account information such as account names and the content you schedule. We process this only when you opt in to those features, and only to provide them to you. We do not access or upload this category of data covertly.
3. Why we use it, and our legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Providing the app, licensing, and cloud features you request | Performance of a contract |
| Product analytics, diagnostics, security, and improving quality | Legitimate interests |
| Sending you waitlist, onboarding, and product emails | Consent and/or legitimate interests |
| Marketing emails and non-essential website cookies | Consent (withdrawable at any time) |
| Complying with legal and tax obligations | Legal obligation |
4. The processors we share data with
We use a small set of trusted service providers ("processors") to run Warmr. They process data on our instructions only:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| LemonSqueezy | Merchant of Record: checkout, payment, tax, and license keys. LemonSqueezy is the seller of record for purchases and holds your billing details. |
| Supabase | Authentication and cloud data storage for cloud features. |
| PostHog | Product and website analytics. |
| Resend | Transactional email (e.g. license keys, sign-in links). |
| Loops | Waitlist and marketing/lifecycle email. |
| Cal.com | Scheduling demo and onboarding calls. |
| GitHub Pages | Website hosting. |
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may disclose data if required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
5. International transfers
We and our processors may store and process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data of EU/UK users is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: account and license data for as long as your account is active and as required for tax/legal records; analytics data for a limited rolling window; and waitlist/marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
7. Your rights
If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email hi@warmr.so. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
8. Cookies and tracking
The website uses essential cookies plus analytics cookies/identifiers (via PostHog). Where required by law, we ask for your consent to non-essential cookies and you can decline or withdraw consent. The Mac app uses an analytics identifier tied to your installation/license to attribute usage events.
9. Children
Warmr is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and restricted access to systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with an updated date, and for material changes we will notify you by email or in the app.
